Windows & Doors
A window is an opening in the weather line, not only a view. Peakform measures the opening, the reveal, and the way water runs off the sill. Replacement units are specified with the seal and the internal finish, so the edge does not become the new leak.
Doors are checked for threshold, swing, and the floor that will meet them after other work. If a kitchen or a floor is in the same season, the door is sequenced with that height, not against it.
Daylight is a design choice. We will say when a larger opening is a structural question and when it is simply a better casement in the same hole. You should not have to discover the difference after the lining is off.
What a scope usually includes
- Opening survey and sill check
- Window and door specification
- Seal and reveal finishes
- Coordination with floors and kitchens
- Hardware and security notes
- Care of tracks, seals, and drainage slots
